Joyce Gumminger baby sister. I have so many stories & memories of our lives together. I remember what a darling baby you were...such blonde hair & so very cute! We had a perfect childhood blessed by our parents & growing up on Sycamore Terrace! Outside was the best place to be! We all ran & played until datk...& then still didn't want to come in! You loved playing in the dirt!!! Mom wasn't so crazy about it though! A pretty little tom boy! You protecting your baby Easter chick that grew up to be a rooster!!! I remember you opening the car door by mistake of a yelled at me to grab you!!!! Oh how I tried....but your thong came off in my hand...thank God we were in parking lot & not going fast!! I remember when Karen Fiser almost took a spin in our druer...but mom caught you in time!!! I
remember you hanging out up at Ruskin Theatres while I worked!!! Such a fun time in our lives! First time dad let me take car & we turned the corner & got a flat tire!!! Dang!!!! Remember how I drug you to the drive in for Love Story??? Only about a bazillion times!!! Swimming at Sunny Shores....i remember us giggling at my small pouchy stomach showing with me in a bikini....but it was CHAD!!!! You loved taking pictures & came over one day & we went outside for a photo session! The one of me hugging tree was always a favorite. Us being pregnant together! Boy oh boy...we hit Sonic hard!!! Tator tots! I lost Jane's Brett at 6 months...but you had beautiful Sasha 5 months later! Our joyous weddings! Our cookie delirium!!! Our road trip to Allan Wards' funeral...the chocolate pie!!!! Lol was awful!!! Remember when we made a s'more at Halloween party ...later found out it was the time Allan died!!! Monster Mash!!! I Cookie days!!! Our trip to see Coby born!!! What fun we had! The big "Koch" truck we had in front of us!!! Lol... All the lovely scenery along the way!!! Perfect day! Thank you for everything you have helped me with sis! Moving was so much easier with with your help! Our caring for mama...going through all of mom & dads' stuff...selling the house!!! I have so many more memories...tucked in my heart & soul. Our families have been intertwined for more than fifty years, so sharing just one memory is nearly impossible. Joyce and I spent countless nights together trying our hardest to not let our giggling get us in trouble. I remember us sitting in the car singing along with “The Monkeys” and lying on blankets in front of the car at the drive-in. We shared our goals, our secrets, and our dreams. One of our favorite dreams was to graduate high school, fly to Europe, and back pack across the country immersing ourselves in the culture and experiencing a different way of life. Sadly this was not to be. We took different paths after high school, but oh what fun we would have had! Regardless of how long it was between our visits, we never skipped a beat and shared the love and joy for our kids and grand kids.

I will never forget you and you are truly missed.

Fly high my dear friend, fly high! I love you!
